James and Horatio are quietly building a tower out of bricks when Bump! Hee-haw! Something crashes into James's Useful Box and sends them both flying. It's Calamity, the donkey, racing as usual. Horatio thinks he would like to race too - he just has to find himself a suitable jockey. But racing Calamity proves to be extremely difficult, not least because of her habit of making up the track as she goes along!
